As people age, skin tends to become dry and saggy with fine lines emerging, often accompanied by physical fatigue, emotional tension and other state?related changes. After continuous 28?day consumption, instrumental measurements detected highly significant improvements (p＜0.001) in multiple skin indicators compared with baseline values prior to intake.
Fundamental skin moisturizing capacity was markedly enhanced: stratum corneum water content rose by 63.19?% and skin gloss increased by 45.99?%, helping alleviate dryness and dullness typical of mature?age skin. The skin elasticity R2 value went up by 31.16?% while skin smoothness improved by 22.28?%, yielding a more refined skin texture. Skin collagen density increased by 46.91?%, contributing to improved skin plumpness.
Positive changes were also observed in age?related facial lines. Crow’s?feet area around the eyes decreased by 20.83?%, eye wrinkle count dropped by 19.97?%, crow’s?feet volume fell by 22.36?%, and nasolabial fold volume reduced by 17.42?%, with diminished severity of line depressions.
Apart from objective instrumental data, trial participants completed subjective perception questionnaires, achieving an overall product satisfaction rate of 100?%. Many subjects reported perceptibly more hydrated and plumper skin, enhanced skin radiance, and visually softened appearance of periorbital and facial lines.
Beyond external skin manifestations, this trial also assessed physical?mental perceptions among mature?age participants. The POMS Profile of Mood States and SF?36 Short?Form Health Survey were adopted to document internal state shifts among subjects.
At the emotional level, after 28?day intake, scores for negative emotions including tension, anger, fatigue, depression and panic declined significantly. Tension score decreased by 13.49, anger score by 14.13, fatigue score by 10.65, depression score by 9.96, and panic score by 10.00. Meanwhile, vitality score representing positive states increased by 7.61 alongside higher scores for positive self?perception. The total mood disturbance score dropped by 66.9, indicating a shift toward calmer and more stable emotional status.
In terms of overall quality?of?life assessment, positive score gains were observed across eight dimensions: physical functioning, role?physical, bodily pain, general health, vitality, social functioning, role?emotional and mental health. The summary physical?health score rose by 16.50 points and the summary mental?health score increased by 17.67 points. Improvements were witnessed in subjects’ physical mobility, pain perception, energy levels, psychological sentiment and social?life experience.
